Knee pain / Otsego, MN
Squatting, kneeling, running, or just walking down the stairs shouldn’t hurt. At ChiroFix in Otsego, MN, we treat knee pain by working on the muscles and tissue that control the knee, from the hip all the way down to the calf.
The basics
Your knee is a hinge caught between two long levers, the thigh and the shin. The quads, hamstrings, IT band, and calf all attach around it and decide how smoothly it tracks.
When those muscles get tight or out of balance, the kneecap and tendons take extra load. That’s why so much knee pain responds to work above and below the joint, not just on it.

How we treat it
We treat the knee as part of the whole leg. Soft tissue work through the thigh, IT band, and calf comes first, and we add tools that fit your knee.

Cupping to strip out tight quads and hamstrings, and scraping for thick, stuck tissue around the knee.

About shockwave & laser20 / 30 / 60-minute visits
Knee pain almost always involves the hip, thigh, and calf too. Covering the whole leg takes more than a few minutes.
We book 20 minutes for one or two areas, 30 minutes for three or four, and 60 minutes for the whole body, so there’s time for the knee and everything that moves it.
Runners, lifters, tradespeople, and anyone with cranky knees come to us from Otsego, Elk River, Albertville, St. Michael, Zimmerman, Ramsey, and Rogers.
