Elbow, wrist & carpal tunnel / Otsego, MN
Your hands and forearms work all day, at a keyboard, on a job site, or holding a racquet or club. At ChiroFix in Otsego, MN, we treat tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and carpal tunnel symptoms by releasing the tight, overworked tissue in the forearm, elbow, and wrist.
The basics
The muscles that grip and twist your hand run from the elbow down to the wrist. Tennis elbow shows up on the outside of the elbow, golfer’s elbow on the inside, and both come from those tendons being overloaded.
Carpal tunnel symptoms happen when the nerve that runs through the wrist gets crowded, causing numbness or tingling in the thumb and first fingers. Tight forearm tissue is often part of the picture in all three.

How we treat it
We release the overworked tissue from the neck and shoulder down through the forearm and wrist, then use tools to help stubborn tendons settle down.

Instrument scraping and cupping to break up thick, stuck tissue along the forearm and around the elbow.

Elbow and wrist problems often involve the neck, shoulder, and forearm together. Working all of them in one visit makes the difference.
Visits run 20 minutes for one or two areas, 30 minutes for three or four, and 60 minutes for the whole body, so you can choose how much ground to cover.
Office workers, tradespeople, golfers, and climbers come to us for elbow and wrist pain from Otsego, Elk River, Albertville, St. Michael, Zimmerman, Ramsey, and Rogers.
Questions
That depends on how long your symptoms have been around and how much you’re still using the arm every day. We’ll make a plan at your first visit and adjust as you improve.
We don’t bill health insurance, but HSA and FSA cards are accepted and we can give you a detailed invoice for out-of-network benefits. We do accept auto accident and workers’ compensation claims, including repetitive work injuries; call us with your claim information first.
Often you can, with some changes. We’ll talk through your workstation, tools, or grip and help you find ways to keep going while the tissue calms down.
See a doctor if numbness is constant, your hand is getting weaker, the muscles at the base of your thumb look smaller, or symptoms started with a fall or injury.
